    Blessed by Scripture

The women of the Salty Sunshine compiled a list of Bible Scriptures we feel particularly drawn to during Christmastime! Before we share those Scriptures with you, our curiosity was piqued regarding Bible facts. Did you know…? In the ESV, “Jesus” occurs 925 times, all in the New Testament. The only book of the New Testament that doesn’t contain the name Jesus is 3 John. (Depending on which translation of the Bible you are reading, the number of times “Jesus” is mentioned will vary.) For the women of The Salty Sunshine, the most overwhelming feeling is LOVE. We love Jesus Christ and we believe, wholeheartedly, we are LOVED by Jesus Christ! While celebrating the birth of Jesus with our loved ones and friends, we…

In my experience, people either tolerate this song or need to change the channel. Then, these questions came to mind: Who wrote this song? When? How many variations are there? Surely, there is a Christian viewpoint on “The Twelve Days of Christmas”? Thanks to the internet and my iPhone, I had all…
