    “Light Of The World”

    Recently, I was driving home from working at a clinic and I noticed how dark it was outside. The Indianapolis area is on Eastern Standard time. I remember looking at the dashboard clock when I realized how dark it was: 6:35 pm. Not very late into the evening for what seemed like midnight darkness. As I drove into a clearing, out of the trees, the moon was so bright and beautiful! Instantly, I could see the road in front of me more clearly.     The women of the Salty Sunshine compiled a list of Bible Scriptures we feel particularly drawn to during Christmastime! Before we share those Scriptures with you, our curiosity was piqued regarding Bible facts. Did you know…? In the ESV, “Jesus” occurs 925 times, all in the New Testament. The only book of the New Testament that doesn’t contain the name Jesus is 3 John. (Depending on which translation of the Bible you are reading, the number of times “Jesus” is mentioned will vary.)     “The Farm Store, Frosties and…a Pickle?

    Yes! These are a few of our (the women of the Salty Sunshine) favorite traditions! We had fun learning about the various traditions our families enjoy during the Christmas season. Attending Christmas services at church topped the list! We want to give a shout out to all the volunteers!  Volunteers graciously offer their time at Christmas to welcome many guests into their churches!
